What is our Heavenly Father like?
Matthew 7:9
Which of you, if your child asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much ore will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him?
James 1:7
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows.

God is a Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling."
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. that whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life.
Psalm 103:8
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children , so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
